Task/Problem Overview
This document will cover how to add a subtotal line entry within a quote/order. This is a great use case for when doing large showroom quotes that may contain different rooms, and you would like to show the customer what each area/room costs.
Creating a Quote
-
Go to New and select Quote/Order
-
Enter the customer’s information within the header details
-
Next, begin entering your items numbers
-
Once you are ready to insert a subtotal choose a row after where you want to insert the subtotal and right click and select ‘Insert Sub Total’
- A subtotal line will appear totaling the lines of the items prior to inserting the line.
- You can repeat adding subtotals throughout the order.
-
NOTE: if you forgot a line you can alway right-click and select Insert Row and add a new row, and the subtotal will automatically adjust.
-
If you need to delete the subtotal just right click on the line and select Delete Row.
